Question: what facinates you the most about the human body

Keywords: ,

  1. I am absolutely fascinated by how cells can be told to turn into other types of cells when exposed to certain substances.

I’m also really interested in the many different ways the body has to fight off illness. We seem to be discovering new methods every year

  2. I’m fascinated by how powerful and sensitive our body can be at the same time. For instance, human’s bone is just as strong as a slab of granite and ounce for ounce, bone is stronger than steel. However more than 3 C degrees in our body temperature can be fatal for us.
There are too many stuff comes to my mind when I start thinking about it, we are so complex and awesome. This connectivity between our cells, tissues and systems is just a phenomenon on its own.
What surprises me is we share about 55% of the same DNA with a banana 🙂

  3. For me its that the human body needs to operate in such a narrow range of pH and temperature to function properly. The more I learn about our cells – how complicate they are and hoe sensitive they are to change – it amazes me that we are able to stay healthy so much of the time!
