This zone is the Disease Zone. It has a range of scientists studying all different topics. Who gets the prize? YOU decide!

So, what’s the Diesease Zone all about?

The scientists in our Disease 2013 zone all work in the realm of understanding and fighting Disease – but they do this in loads of different ways! One scientist looks at ‘superbugs’ and how to use their ‘super’ powers against them, whilst another studies disease from a genetics point of view, looking at how our own DNA can help protect us against cancer.

The one thing all the scientists in this zone have in common is that they are all tying to understand diseases better to make our fight against them a stronger and more successful one.
