Question: If a person has signs of cancer, how long do they have until it takes over the body?

    how fast a tumour grows and spreads, and to where entirely depends on where the cancer is, its genes, and how aggressive it is. Some people with pancreatic cancer don’t last a year, some with ovarian cancer don’t last 5 years. Some people with breast cancer die very quickly if their cancer is aggressive and some with tumours that respond well to treatment are completely cured. Prostate cancer is well known to grow so slowly many men with it die of old age first!

    It really depends on the cancer you have. Breast cancer is a really snake one for instance, it may take 40 years until doctors can detect it is growing in your body.
