Thanks for the question catie14. Well, if I did happen to find a cure, that would be fantastic news! However, even I can find a cure in the lab, there is still a long way to go to get that cure to a patient. There are all kinds of clinical trials for safety and effectiveness that a drug has to go through before it can be given to a patient. So even if I found a cure tomorrow, it might take 10 years until you could be prescribed it by your doctor!
