What a fantastic question guys! Science encompasses a lot of areas. It includes medicine and biology, phsysics and astronomy, engineering and technology, agriculture and much, much more. Studying these things allows us to discover new ways to advance each of these fields and make life better, for us and the environment. With knowledge of these things we can begin to learn more about who we are, and who we want to become as human beings and try to achieve it.
Science helps us learn about our past and present so we can look towards the future.
To me science is important because it requires us to be creative and inquisitive! Science is about being curious about the world we live in and learning all the things we have to offer.
