You are most likely to be at the lowest risk of getting sick when you are young and healthy. Teenagers through to probably mid 40’s is where the least problems with our bodies occur (apart from injuries of course!) Having a healthy diet and exercising in some way every day will certainly help out.
Young children under 5 and the elderly are most at risk of illness as they have weaker immune systems and are less able to fight off illness.
I agree with Miranda. When you are young and healthy is when your body is in its best shape to fight infections. Also keeping up with your immunizations will help your immune system be ready should an infection occur. Having a flu shot every year will really help build up your immunity against it!
Hmmm… I haven’t looked at the scientist’s answers yet, so I’d say when you’re in your middle age. Then, you’d have probably immunised yourself against germs and diseases, and are not so old that you’re vunrable… I’ll comment again after I’ve read the answers.
