We complement each other well actually. I’m very good with understanding the experimental side of things, and he is very good at comparing genes and proteins to each other.
I know many married scientist couples though, and many scientists not with another scientist. I think you just need someone who understands when you need to work longer sometimes, or when plans have to be scheduled around grant deadlines and conferences, and you dont have to be a scientist to be understanding of that.
