Nope, but i did have a student that set the bench on fire once. It wasn’t really his fault, because the ethanol burner he was using was faulty and leaked flammable ethanol all the way down to the bench, trailing fire behind it. Was pretty scary!
I had a similar experience to Miranda’s student. Thankfully mine was not down the whole bench, I just leaked a bit of flaming ethanol onto the bench in front of me. The benches were specially made so they didn’t go up in flames and I was able to blow it out. I was very very lucky!

Thankfully no. I don’t usually work with a lot of fire in my experiments.
