Question: How will the research of the scientists at CERN with the Large Hadron Colider expand our understanding of the universe

Keywords: ,

  1. I’m not a physicist by anyone’s definition, but i think it’s a lot like cell biology. When someone discovers a new component of cells, suddenly our understanding of how they work and what they can do changes. More possibilities open up.

I imagine it is much the same with the discoveries of new particles over at CERN (wouldn’t you just love to get inside and visit?) if there are new particles it means we can have new theories about how things are made and how and why they do what they do.
