Keywords: , ,

  1. What a fantastic question guys! Science encompasses a lot of areas. It includes medicine and biology, phsysics and astronomy, engineering and technology, agriculture and much, much more. Studying these things allows us to discover new ways to advance each of these fields and make life better, for us and the environment. With knowledge of these things we can begin to learn more about who we are, and who we want to become as human beings and try to achieve it.

Science helps us learn about our past and present so we can look towards the future.

  2. To me science is important because it requires us to be creative and inquisitive! Science is about being curious about the world we live in and learning all the things we have to offer.

Making discoveries can also bring fulfillment and understand to our lives. I have two quotes I really like which to me is what science is about and why its important:

Science does not purvey absolute truth, science is a mechanism. It’s a way of trying to improve your knowledge of nature, it’s a system for testing your thoughts against the universe and seeing whether they match – Isaac Asimov

Being a scientist requires having faith in uncertainty, finding pleasure in mystery, and learning to cultivate doubt – Richard Feynman

  3. Science is a way of life! It is rebellion against ignorance. It is courage to question everything but everything about life and ask questions. Science is the means to understand our surroundings. It helps us to learn about all the other creatures that live with us on earth and in the universe. It enlightens the path to truth. Can you think of a world without bulbs, computers, TV, vehicles? Science is their inventor!
